Abstract
The Virtual Private Network Consortium (VPNC) supported the VPN vendor community. VPNC did not itself create standards, but supported IETF standards. Membership included hardware manufacturers, software manufacturers, and service providers of the protocols supported as VPNs by VPNC. VPNC was dissolved in 2015.
