Abstract
Within the United Nations, UN/CEFACT (Centre for Trade Facilitation and Electronic Business) promotes the growth of global commerce by improving the ability of business, trade and administrative organizations from developed, developing and transitional economies, to exchange products and relevant services effectively. Participation in UN/CEFACT is open to Member States, intergovernmental organizations, and sectoral and industry associations recognized by the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations (ECOSOC).
