The Open Group Exploration, Mining, Metals and Minerals (EMMM) Forum promotes and develops a reference framework containing standards for the mining industry. It manages the Exploration and Mining Business Reference Model, which covers all aspects of mining and mining-related activities and provides a general level of process detail that can be extended by organizations to an activity or task level.
