Abstract
The OSGi Working Group (formerly OSGi Alliance and Open Services Gateway Initiative) is a working group of the Eclipse Foundation. The OSGI Working Group develops and promotes open specifications enabling the modular assembly of software built with Java technology and engages in related certification. Its goal is to reduce software complexity by providing a modular architecture for large-scale distributed systems as well as small, embedded applications.
