Abstract
The Open SystemC Initiative (OSCI) supported and promoted the advancement of SystemC as an open source standard for system-level design. SystemC provided an interoperable modeling platform which enabled the development and exchange of very fast system-level C++ models and provided a stable platform for development of system-level tools. *Merged with Accellera in 2011 to form Accellera Systems Initiative
