Abstract
Open Platform for NFV (OPNFV) is an open-source project developing Network Functions Virtualization (NFV), the replacement of custom hardware running network functions by virtual servers running on a cloud platform on commercial, off-the-shelf hardware. OPNFV's goals are to increase performance and power efficiency; improve reliability, availability, and serviceability; and deliver comprehensive platform instrumentation. *Merged with Anuket in 2021.
