Abstract
The Open Network Video Interface Forum (ONVIF) develops and promotes the ONVIF specification, which defines a common protocol for the exchange of information between network video devices, including automatic device discovery, video streaming, and intelligence metadata. Primary focus is to establish a global interface standard facilitating use of network video technology by end users, integrators, consultants, and manufacturers.
