Abstract
The Open Data Center Alliance coordinated the development of standards for cloud computing. The Alliance's goal was to create a federated cloud where common standards will be laid down for those in the hardware and software arena. ODCA reformed as the Open Alliance for Cloud Adoption (OACA) in 2018 and operates under the Linux Foundation as an open-source project.
