Abstract
The IVI Foundation is an open consortium that defines software standards for instrument interchangeability, and defines a standard instrument driver model that enables engineers to swap instruments without requiring software changes in order to increase efficiency. The IVI Foundation consists of end-user test engineers and system integrators.
