Abstract
GateD (GateDaemon) Consortium produces GateD, a modular routing software used to interconnect packet-switched networks. It supports multiple IP and ISO network routing protocols. GateD is used as: a platform for new network routing protocol deployment; a source of routing protocol reference implementations to test against; a distribution mechanism of new protocol implementations; a bootstrapping facility providing the core for the development of commercial products; and a means of access to network research and development.
