Abstract
The European Committee for Banking Standards (ECBS) was formed in 1992 by European banking associations to enhance the European technical banking infrastructure by developing standards. Its website is now maintained by an independent group, the European Banking Resources, at ECBS.org. *Dissolved in 2006 and transferred its functions to the European Payments Council (EPC)
