Embedded Linux Consortium (ELC)
The Embedded Linux Consortium (ELC) focused on the advancement, promotion and standardization of Linux throughout the embedded, applied, and appliance computing markets. Founded to pursue promotion of Linux for embedded applications, the Embedded Linux Consortium was also standardizing an open, unified platform specification ("ELCPS"). Members contributed and participated in management, promotion, implementation, and platform specification working group efforts. *Merged with Linux Foundation in 2010
