Abstract
The CAD Framework Initiative developed open interfaces between computer-aided design (CAD) tools and the software environments ("frameworks") that support their use. CFI membership included design tool, workstation and semiconductor vendors, as well as CAD end users, in North America, Europe and Asia. *Now Silicon Integration Initiative (Si2)
