Abstract
BACnet International promotes interoperability and compliance with the BACnet Standard by developing conformance testing software and organizing multi-vendor interoperability testing activities. BACnet is a standard data communication protocol developed by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). The BACnet standard is publicly available so that manufacturers can create interoperable systems of products.
