Abstract
The ARCNET Trade Association (ATA) promotes ARCNET in the computer industry and the use of the ARCNET standard ATA 878.1-1999. ARCNET is designated as a high-speed local area network (LAN) for real-time control applications in both the industrial and commercial marketplaces. Membership consists of users of end products, developers and vendors of products, dealers, distributors, re-sellers and system integrators, and others interested in ARCNET.
