Abstract
OpenSocial Foundation promoted open technologies that facilitate the creation of contextual experiences connecting employees, systems and information. Through open-source projects, OpenSocial provided a way for 3rd-party applications to interact with users directly in their activity stream. *Merged with W3C in 2015.
