Abstract
The SPDX Working Group develops, maintains, and promotes the Software Package Data Exchange (SPDX) specification, a file format for communicating the components, licenses, and copyrights associated with a software package. SPDX attempts to standardize the way in which organizations publish their metadata on software licenses and components in bills of material.
