Abstract
The Open Standard for Public Transportation (OSPT) Alliance developed, maintains, and promotes CIPURSE, an open security standard for transit fare collection systems which makes use of smart card technologies and additional security measures. OSPT Alliance membership is open to transit operators, solution vendors, government agencies and other stakeholders in the transit ecosystem.
