Abstract
The Global e-Sustainability Initiative (GeSI) was formed in 2001. GeSI supports member initiatives in developed and developing nations to respond to issues such as climate change, energy efficiency, e-waste management and resource efficiency, responsible supply chain practices, and human rights. Goals are to develop solutions for improving energy and resource efficiency, reducing carbon emissions and footprints, access to sustainable technologies, and supporting Information and Communication Technology (ICT)-enabled transformation across global industries and sectors.
