Abstract
Global Spatial Data Infrastructure (GSDI) supports access to geographic information. GSDI's goals include: articulating the operational environment needed to achieve Global SDI compatibility; helping to build globally compatible SDI capacity; educating decision-makers on the benefits of GSDI; assuring that different SDI related policies can be facilitated by the GSDI; and advancing the DSGI mission until a global SDI is achieved.
