Abstract
The Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access (WiMAX) Forum promotes and certifies interoperability of broadband wireless access equipment that conforms to the IEEE 802.16 and ETSI HIPERMAN standards. WiMAX also promotes specifying minimum air-interface performance between various vendors' products and certifying products that meet those performance benchmarks.
