The Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International (SEMI) supports the development of standards specific to the semiconductor industry, and the development of long-range plans for the industry. SEMI is a trade organization of manufacturers of equipment and materials used in the fabrication of semiconductor devices such as integrated circuits, transistors, diodes, and thyristors.
