Abstract
The Apache Software Foundation (ASF) is a decentralized open source community of developers, supporting numerous open-source software projects. Software produced by the projects is distributed under the terms of the Apache License, a permissive open-source license for free and open-source software (FOSS). Projects are managed by self-selected teams of technical experts who are active contributors.
