Overview: The Hybrid Memory Consortium (HMC) facilitates Hybrid Memory Cube (HMC) integration into systems, platforms, and applications by defining an industry-wide interface. Hybrid Memory Cube is a new type of computer RAM technology that uses DRAM cells. HMC was founded by Micron Technology and Samsung Electronics and is managed by a group of eight developers responsible for managing the organization, attending management and adoption meetings, and developing and optimizing the ongoing HMC interface specification.
