Overview: Internet Security Alliance (ISAlliance) was founded in 2001 as a non-profit collaboration between the Electronic Industries Alliance (EIA), a federation of trade associations, and Carnegie Mellon University's CyLab, focusing on cyber security. The ISAlliance is a forum for information sharing and leadership on information security, and it lobbies for corporate security interests. ISA's goals are: to demonstrate thoughtful leadership in advancing the development of a sustainable system of cyber security; advocate for public policy that will advance the interests of cyber security; and create increased awareness and programs that will result in more rapid adoption of cyber security standards, practices, and technologies.
