Open Applications Group (OAG)

Overview: The Open Applications Group was formed in 1995 to focus on best practices and processes based on XML content for eBusiness and Application Integration. Its mission is to define and promote the adoption of unifying standards for eBusiness and Application Software interoperability that enable an organization to buy more quickly and to integrate their Business to Business (B2B) and Application to Application (A2A) software. Technical work includes defining business processes, their messages, and the data dictionary, as well as XML design, development, UML repository work, and application architecture.
