Overview: The IPv6 Forum works to improve the market and user awareness of IPv6 by creating a secure Next Generation Internet and allowing equitable access to knowledge and technology. IPv6 is short for "Internet Protocol Version 6" and is the protocol designed by the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) to replace the current version Internet Protocol, IP Version 4 ("IPv4"). The IPv6 Forum is registered in Luxembourg and was created in 1999.
