Integration Consortium

Overview: The Integration Consortium facilitated business process integration within and between organizations using Internet-standard protocols and formats. The consortium offered a variety of integration solution frameworks, cross-industry investments including a business document library, as well as products and tools for developing, executing, and managing distributed business processes. The consortium worked with industry standard groups, technology and service providers, and global organizations. Objectives of the Consortium included: providing education and information programs to members; promoting and educating the industry regarding integration solutions; and advancing the Consortium's advocacy agenda. The Integration Consortium was formed in July 2001. The IC moved to the U.S. as a 501(c)(6) non-profit organization in 2005, *With the disbanding of Integration Consortium in 2009, IC's web presence was replaced with the "Cloudy Integration" web information portal, which provides live information on various subject areas relating to Integration including: Enterprise Integration, Cloud Computing, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Enterprise Architecture and Virtualization
