Open Buying on the Internet Consortium (OBI)
Overview: The Open Buying on the Internet Consortium (OBI) was a global, multi-class consortium, which developed open standards for business-to-business Internet commerce. To accomplish that, it developed and promoted standards for Internet purchases: small dollar, non-production goods and services. Its founding members were large buyers and sellers who wanted to make their Internet buying and selling simpler and more efficient.
